i'm an ex-neuroscientist as well as ex-top management consultant, with a particular focus on consumer marketing. my fundamental interest always lies around human perception, how we feel and capture the world. i like photo and any beautiful words that captured some aspects of truth. i am currently living in tokyo working as a strategic planning guy for an IT/media company. i used to live in connecticut to do my ph.d. and postdoctoral work at yale. i am married, with a daughter. hope i can find some good resonance at tumblr.

しかし、明確な目標が与えられた時の日本の技術力の高さは世界に冠たるものがある。もしかしたら、実戦経験の少なさをカバーしてしまうほど性能に優れた武器を日本は作り出してしまうかもしれないのだ。その可能性はゼロとは言えない。あたかも1980年代の日本の自動車産業が、米国の自動車生産拠点であるデトロイトを壊滅に近い状態まで追い込んだようにである。 　さてそうなった時、日本にとって幸せなことと言えるだろうか。昭和初期、日本が急速に軍国主義化していったあの不幸な時代が繰り返されてしまうのではないか。そう考えると、私は言葉を失ってしまう。
