i'm an ex-neuroscientist as well as ex-top management consultant, with a particular focus on consumer marketing. my fundamental interest always lies around human perception, how we feel and capture the world. i like photo and any beautiful words that captured some aspects of truth. i am currently living in tokyo working as a strategic planning guy for an IT/media company. i used to live in connecticut to do my ph.d. and postdoctoral work at yale. i am married, with a daughter. hope i can find some good resonance at tumblr.

戦いが終わって、広い深い静かな海のように全部飲み込んで、平らげて、そして初めて闘いが終わると。焼け野原のままでは、またそこから火が起き上がってしまう。またそこから下克上が始まる。世が治まらない。動乱のままだと言う事ですね。 だから本当に「闘いに勝つ」という事は、静かな広い「海」の状態にして初めて闘いが完結すると。…まあ本当は孫子の方は、この「海」という字じゃなくて「雷のごとし」とか「影のごとし」とか、まあ色んな他の表現があるんですけれども、僕はそっちよりも「海」という方が、戦いを終わらすと思ってる。
